Not only for my sake, but for parents/grandparents/caregivers to realize that certain actions, verbiage and projections by others (even if they are so-called professionals) are simply unacceptable. Period. Last week Lola had her evaluation by the public school system. This evaluation was for therapists, teachers and other special education professionals to be able to determine what services/goals are appropriate for Lola as she enters preschool when she turns three years old. Yeah for Mama Time!

Ahhhh, sweet bliss. Lola’s Social Group at Children’s Therapy Connection has started once again and that means my much needed Meredith time has resurfaced again. I’m sitting here at Starbucks, listening to the most calming classical music, browsing the Internet, catching up with emails and just enjoying this much enjoyed and much needed alone time. See that key word? Alone. I love my child and I love my husband, but I truly like having two hours a week to do whatever my heart desires. Well, I have to be honest.
