Lola and her water bottle

My mother thought it would be fun to give Lola water out of a bottle the night Rob and I went on our date (which The Hangover II is so raunchy yet hilarious!) and now Lola has a new found love.  The colder the better – must feel good on her teething gums. Aren’t her little Nathan Lane eyebrows so cute?! We always play “clean your mouth” after which again…  … she loves. I vowed to never be one of those mothers that damn near takes off the kids face when she cleans it! As a treat, we let her stand (PT says no).  Who knew a baby could like standing so much?...

Passport, Shat on and an EEG

Yesterday Steve, Rob, Lola and I went to the U.S. Embassy to do various things. Steve needed more pages in his passport while Rob and I had an interview appointment to verify that we are indeed Lola’s parents.  The interview was quick and harmless and Lola will receive her passport in just two short weeks.  On our way back to the car, something warm and watery came flying down on my left arm… . Day 14 – May 11th, 2011

Our little hippie baby has been doing great today.  She has had two seizure clusters, one happening at 2:00 am and the other at 6:00 am.  She only had a couple of seizures each time which is a definite improvement from before.  Not much new to report other than I went to the U.S. Embassy today to drop off all of the paperwork (a ton of it!) for Lola’s passport.  We’ll be heading back to Indianapolis in July so look for a post begging for travel tips with a baby.  And finally my Mom is coming home tonight… well at least I hope so.  She was stuck in Dallas because of bad weather, so we’re wishing her safe travels.  See you in the am mama!...
