Day 14 – May 11th, 2011

Our little hippie baby has been doing great today.  She has had two seizure clusters, one happening at 2:00 am and the other at 6:00 am.  She only had a couple of seizures each time which is a definite improvement from before.  Not much new to report other than I went to the U.S. Embassy today to drop off all of the paperwork (a ton of it!) for Lola’s passport.  We’ll be heading back to Indianapolis in July so look for a post begging for travel tips with a baby.  And finally my Mom is coming home tonight… well at least I hope so.  She was stuck in Dallas because of bad weather, so we’re wishing her safe travels.  See you in the am mama!...

Finding Home

This is the door to the home Rob and I own in Indianapolis.  Over the past couple of weeks we have been contemplating on whether or not we should put it on the market.  While the economy is still OK in Indy, the housing market has gone down considerably.  Now it’s not all about making money, but at the same time this house has too much value in my heart to just let it go for pennies.  And while I love Costa Rica, I feel like if we sell it than we are here permanently.  We would have no home to go back to and we would pretty much just have to start over.  I’m at a loss as to which path to choose as we want to...

Miss Indiana

Penned by Meredith Blame it on the hormones or what you will, but I find myself missing quite a bit of my old life in Indianapolis. When people ask “What do you miss the most about the States?”, I usually say the first thing that comes to mind. But lately, I’ve found myself really thinking about what it is that I miss about specifically Indianapolis (Michigan would be a whole other post!).
