Day 10 – May 7th, 2011

Holy cheeks!  Lola is hungry and she is eating as if we might just run out of food.  I cannot get over how different her eating patterns are.  When I got home from getting my hair cut yet again, Rob said she had just eaten less than an hour before.  Well she was getting fussy and by the way she was acting I knew she was hungry again.  We were both in disbelief when she ate another six ounces.  This is unheard for the girl!  Lola has been checking out the dogs lately.  Here she was trying to reach for Zoe which was so cute to see.  Zoe loves Lola (as if you couldn’t tell from the picture) and will even go to where Lola is if she...

We’re Flying Solo

At 5:00 am this morning I took Rob to the bus station so he could go on (what we hope) is his last visa run. I would have loved for him to go with my mother and me last week, but he had to stay behind to care for Lola. He’ll be gone until the late afternoon tomorrow as it was too expensive for him to hire a private driver alone. So for the next day and a half, it’s a baby, two dogs, a bird and myself (I forgot to mention we have a client here too!).
