We have some great friends

Today, Lola received three care packages from friends all over the country. My friend, Mindi in Michigan sent Lola all things that she found useful with her son, Carter plus much much more. She sent everything from the cutest PJ’s to colic formula (much needed) to changing pads to adorable girlie clothes and too much other stuff to even list. Mindi said Carter loved a kind of bath blanket called a Bath Luve. Apparently it will keep Lola warm while she is in the bath tub. Very clever. Lola seems to be loving the bath, but wow does she get mad when she gets out. Regardless, I’m excited to try this new gift thanks to Mindi! We also received some handmade goodies from our friends Mike and Mickey...

Miss Indiana

Penned by Meredith Blame it on the hormones or what you will, but I find myself missing quite a bit of my old life in Indianapolis. When people ask “What do you miss the most about the States?”, I usually say the first thing that comes to mind. But lately, I’ve found myself really thinking about what it is that I miss about specifically Indianapolis (Michigan would be a whole other post!). So here is the list that I’ve compiled thus far… Friends Fall – more specifically the color changes of the leaves An afternoon with Rob spent at the Indianapolis Central Library Civilized driving YMCA Riding my bike all over Indianapolis… …especially on the Central Canal Towpath The Sunday newspaper The Goodwill A cappuccino from the Illinois...
